5th week challenges are fun! They happen the 5th Tuesday of any given month (you know how some months have 5 of them while most months only have 4?) and they involve a PRIZE!
So here's January's 5th Week Challenge for you all:
Complete any of the January challenges and post a link in the comments of this post. For every challenge you complete, you'll get another chance at the prize!
The challenges are:
You can post your layouts/cards/projects online at 2ps or on your blog or email them to me, just get them in by Monday, February 4! I will post the winner when I post the first February challenge on Tuesday morning!
And here's the prize package...
A little mini purse made with Martha Stewart paper and my Cricut Expressions. And it's stuffed to the brim with little goodies! Some for scrapping/cardmaking, some handmade by me, and even some yummies, too!
We've had one submission so far (Go Lauren!), so get crafting and post some links! Let's get this show on the road!

I have some free time (assuming kids don't wake up in 5 min) so I think I'll try another challenge. =)
Woo hoo! I actually had time to do 2 more. Wish I had time to do the last tonight, but I may still do it later anyhow. I like the sketch!
Here is my altered stash item:

Thanks for all the fun ideas!
Hey! I was going to tell you I hadn't ever thought about using acetate for a card! So thanks for that idea. I think I'm going to do a wedding card with a transparency front too.
I am paranoid about stuff that could ruin my pictures and scrapbook pages so I don't use it in my albums (but I have metal in there, I know I don't make sense). Some companies make transparency stuff that isn't acetate and that is archival safe (My Mind's Eye is the only one I'm sure of) so that's all I'd ever tried.
What I use transparencies for on scrapbook pages is making stamp/rub-ons. You use them like a rub-on but they look like a stamp. If you print on the wrong side of the transparency it will come off on your paper. =) Fun stuff! And you can rinse it off and reuse it, too. =)
