Cleaning and Purging

As I'm cleaning my craft room (with my mom =D Thanks, Mom!) I'm discovering a few things....

Like this:

Kristii's Open House

Goodies I bought at Kristii's Open House back in... May? April? It was the same day I made this:

Kristii's Open House

*sigh* I am finding all sorts of goodies that I've purchased and not played with or started and not finished. I am also finding things that I've collected and, let's face it, will never use.

So I'm cleaning and purging. Everything needs to have a home. There are some things that need new homes in other people's homes. Like decorative scissors. Do I really need all the ones I never use? I used them once upon a time, but now I don't. So maybe I'll keep my favorite couple pairs, grab a pair or two for Ellie to play with, and get rid of the rest. Do I reallly need the Fastenater I never use? What about the QuicKutz that I had before I had my CuttleBug? I haven't used the QK in over a year. That ought to be the definition of when to get rid of things. I have stencils I haven't used in a very long time. And I'm sure there are other things I haven't even unearthed yet. So... cleaning and purging. My next question is... freecycle or garage sale? I have to do something with all the stuff I'm removing from my craft room...

OOOOOOOOOOOOH! I will be driving through there next week on our way to Sandpoint. I have tons of stuff too! Maybe we could trade some stuff?! Let me know if you're interested and I can make a special box for it so I have it accessible.

We're heading out Monday, spending the night in Greeley, Colorado. Then Tuesday we'll drive as far as we can I guess because we're hoping to get to Sandpoint mid-day on Wednesday.

Woo hoo! Rockin'! I just looked it up on Google maps and it's 9 hours, 15 min to Bozeman from Greeley and then only 6 hours to Sandpoint. It's the perfect place to stop for the night 'cause the other options are Butte (sounds not so fun) and Missoula (too far from Greeley). YAY! Um so I hope you like the idea. ;) lol

i say garage sale if you want to put in the time to make some decent money! at our garage sale this past weekend, i posted it on craigslist (under garage sales, arts & crafts and baby & kids categories). one woman came bright and early on friday morning and filled a tub and bought $89 worth of my stuff. stickers. albums. storage containers. and more. it felt SOOOO good to get rid of that stuff (and make some cash)!

Hey! Yeah it is a week from today that we will be there. That would be fun for you to come to Sandpoint, too! Em is 4 and Lainey is going to be 3 in a few weeks - I bet she and Ellie would have so much fun together!
