that is NOT a craft room... it's a craft MANSION!

Hee hee! I do like having a chunk of our basement as my play space. It's fun!

hi, i just wandered over from 2peas and i wanted to say that i looooove your play space. i'm working on mine right now, which has to be both craft room AND dining room. i would love to do the basement, but i have an old house with lower ceilings in the basement AND no sump pump, so I know I would never sleep thinking that the basement might flood. :P Anyway, your place looks great and sorry if i've crashed your blog...

Glad you like it!

What did you do with your ribbons? I've managed to accumulate lots of ribbons and I'm looking for practical ways to organize them.

OOOO! I love my ribbon storage. =) I used a plastic rain gutter from the hardware store and had Leif cut it into 3rds. Then I hung it on the pegboard and my ribbon sits in there very nicely. It was a $2.50 solution!

Oooooooh, I like that idea. Hmmm...I might have to save it for when I have a real craft room and not just half of the guest room...Although I could hang it on the wall out of the way...Hmmm... Thanks for sharing!

Showing me your beautiful basement is one thing, but rubbing my nose in your awesome craft room is quite another! Don't mind me, I'm just a little jealous...

Love your craft room. So organized! Guess you got that gene from your mom. haha It makes me want to get my computer/craft room organized. Your craft room looks like a craft store! haha Enjoy! Also love the virtual tours...can't wait to see one of your Christmas decorations. :-) Aunt Nora

I was just thinking last night... "I should do a slide show of my Christmas decorations here in the basement!" (and the rest of the house once they're finally up.) Funny!

Wow, that's quite a bit of money packed in one little room.

Jamie, you could also use a kids shoe box for your ribbons. Cut little holes on each of the sides and slide your ribbon through. You can still store it with the rest of your stuff.

Yeah... it's about 15 years worth of christmas/birthday gifts and my own shopping sprees. Hooray for buying things on sale and at garage sales!!

This isn't a "Craft room" comment, but I'd love to see your paper bag albums! Do you post them to 2 Peas? And if so, how do I find them? I'm sure they're GREAT!
