If Martha Were A Geek

She might have made this cake. Tam, this sounds like a cake for Dave. Or any Linux geek for that matter. Made for geeks by a geek (who apparently went to culinary school before choosing geekdom as a career.)

That's funny. When I first saw the cake I thought, "Oh how fun." I had no idea that it was a computer thing but after reading your post I recogonized him from Linix but only because my husband is a fello geek! :)

For Christmas one year (I hope I get this right) a friend made these bite pieces out of computer parts and put a fuzzy thing on it to make it look like a bug. Does that make any sense? It was cute and a complete computer thing too. Oh you can so tell I'm not in that world.

Yes, I can see how you'd make bugs out of computer parts. That's a great idea! It's a shame I can't do a geeky birthday party for Leif complete with little program "bugs" for favors! That would be great! He'd never go for it, but I'd have fun. =)

I don't know why the picture disappeared. Blogger's been doing that to me lately if I link to a picture. You can see it at...

Actually, I was a geek before I went to culinary school. It was a nice break from the tech world for a couple of years.

I found your blog in my web stats. If you want pictures to show up on your blog, you're best off saving them to your own computer and then posting them via Blogger.

Glad you liked the cake!
