Cosmo Cricket

While I was at the scrapbooking store picking up my class supplies for Saturday, I also bought some Cosmos Cricket papers and die cuts. Then I played tonight and for the first time in a while created a layout I really like. It went pretty quickly since I just had to punch out the swirlies and stuff. There's a tag under the photo that reads, "Wife. Mother. That's what I've wanted to be for as long as I can remember."

wow! this is one line of stuff your LSS has in store before mine!! this LO is awesome. i love that it speaks for itself in the title which really doubles as the journling, though you do have that hidden tag there. i love all the fun elements you added, too, including the regular staples, the decorative staples (do you have the Fastenator or just the "decorative bars" that go IN that contraption) and all the other little things i've now forgotten! - tam

What?? My podunk Montana LSS actually got something new before YOURS did?! I'm shocked. But I do love this new line. So easy to scrap with. I picked up a few other papers from the same collection, so I'll have to head down to the craft room and play with those soon, too. And yes, I do have a Fastenater. I got it recently and haven't done a whole lot with it, but I like it now that I figured out how to tell where the "staples" will land!

You make me realize how stinkin' cheap I am. I should just go for it and blow some money. =)

Ooh I just realized that could have sounded rude! I don't mean anything bad about buying all the cool stuff. I want to buy all the cool stuff but then I'd never get to scrapbook as many pictures and I'd deinitely never get caught up (over a year behind). I hope it's not taken bad that I said "blow some money" 'cause I don't mean it's worthless or bad or anything like that. Ugh, I feel like such a dork...

No hard feelings! =) In fact, I'm a little surprised I sprang for the stuff myself - I'm cheap, too. My brother calls me "Miserly". Every once in a while it's fun to get some new stuff to play with (though I admit I've been going crazy lately in that department) to spur on the imagination!
