Everyone has a little "inner" Martha. This is where I post about all things domestic and creative.

Ornament Cookies
Though you can't see it very well in the pictures, these cookies have color flow frosting and royal frosting, AND some edible glitter and sparkle dust! They are VERY fun!!

Daily December Album
Over the weekend I finally made my Daily December album for this year. I love the papers, and I'm really excited about how it turned out! I had several chipboard albums that I wasn't using, so I decided to mix them up and put them together to create one larger album for my Daily December. I love it! Some paper and some paint were all I needed to make them cute as can be and ready for my pictures, which I am still faithfully taking each day. Tonight is Grinch-fest. Woohoo!
Today I get to go and pick up my pictures from Costco so I can finish last year's Daily December (because I feel this need to actually finish it, even if it is a year late!) and get started on this year's! I'm so excited! It's almost enough to make me forget that it's 10 below zero out there right now...!

Unique
I can't believe I haven't blogged this layout yet, but I can't find it, so I guess I haven't! This is one I did about a month ago, just using some supplies from my stash. A Theresa Collins journaling page as the background, some rub ons by Heidi Swapp (the fuzzy damasks - boy were they a pain in the rear!! I threw the others away they were so awful to use! But cute...), Karen Russell, and foofala. I used a Prima frame and a couple punches, and some paint, and that's about it! Just wanted to document how unique I feel the relationship between a mom and her daughter is.
Daily December List
1. Made cookies (though there will be more of that, for sure!)
2. Wrapped gifts (and more of that, for sure!)
3. Made Christmas gifts
4. Devoured the gingerbread house we made
5. Gone to the Christmas Stroll
6. Given to the Salvation Army
Still to do on my list...

11. Build a snowman
12. Finish and send out Christmas cards
13. Open Christmas gifts

I'm sure there are other things I have on the list to do, but this will at least give me ideas as we think through what to do each day!

I went shopping today!
I got this cute set of papers and embellishments that I can't wait to use with pictures of me and Ellie baking this year - we've done a lot of cooking / baking projects, so these are perfect!
I got these 5x7 journaling cards from 7Gypsies. I can't wait to use them to make a mini book!
I also got several Graphic 45 papers, but I didn't get pictures of any of those. Cute stuff I plan to incorporate into projects with some other lines, though!
And last, but not least, (and actually the first thing I picked up) I got these cute Christmas papers and stickers from October Afternoon. I love 'em! In fact, I'm using them RIGHT NOW to create my December Daily album. I'm so excited! I'm also determined to finish mine this year, since last year's ends around day 7... I am excited to be crafting today as the snow falls outside and we get ready to head to the Christmas stroll tonight. It's been a very festive December so far and I can't wait to start documenting it in this album!

Scarflet
I knitted like crazy over Thanksgiving break and it was great! One of the things I made with the very end of my yarn was this little scarflet. It was supposed to be a full scarf, but I ran out of yarn about halfway, so I finished the ends with scallops and added a little knit button that fits through the knit quite well. It ended up pretty cute for a totally unplanned project, and it matches my favorite coat! I might just have to make more of them....
I want those shoes!
Ha ha! This picture cracks me up!! It's Ellie with her little friend Corinne before they could walk!
